MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

1st Executive Committee Meeting

All students in grades 8-12 who are interested in being part of the Executive Committee (EC) and representing their school are welcome to attend the meeting. We encourage anybody who is willing to make the commitment to participate. 

We will be planning the 1st general DAIS meeting of the year. Come with creative, interesting and exciting topics of discussion. You and your input determine the type of topics and discussions for our DAIS meetings!

Directions: Take the 4 or 5 train to 59th Street. Take the local 6 train to 77th Street. Walk south on Lexington Avenue to East 75th. Make a right onto 75th and walk west until you are between  Madison and Park Avenues. The school is on the right side of the block.
