MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

Topic of Discussion- ‘Think It, Say It, Own It: Harnessing The Weight of Our Words’

All students in grades 8 - 12, who are interested in participating in DAIS are invited to attend this meeting for discussion.

Directions by train- Take  the 4 or 5 train to 59th Street. Switch to the 6 local to 77th Street. Walk north on Lexington Avenue to 78th Street. Make a left onto 78 Street and walk west until you are between Madison and 5th Avenues. The school is on this block.
