MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

DAIS General Meeting at Berkeley Carroll School

Topic of Discussion- "With great power comes great responsibility...or does it?: Is spreading racial awareness our job?"

All students in grades 8 - 12, who are interested in participating in DAIS are invited to attend this meeting for discussion.

 

 

Directions by train- Take the 2 or 3 train to Grand Army Plaza. Walk one block on Flatbush Avenue to 8th Avenue. Make a left onto 8th Ave. and walk to Lincoln Place. Make a right onto Lincoln Place. The school is between 7th and 8th Avenues on the right side.
