MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

Topic of Discussion- “FeMEnism: Am I included in the movement?”

All students in grades 8 - 12, who are interested in participating in DAIS are invited to attend this meeting for discussion.

Directions by train- Take the 4, 5 or 6 train to 86th Street. Walk north on Lexington Avenue to 91st Street. Make a Left onto 91st and walk west until you are between Park and Madison Avenues. The school is on the right side of the block. (***Note that we are meeting in the First Program building on East 91st St., not the East 89th St. building.***)
