MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures. Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

All students in grades 8 - 12, who are interested in participating in the next DAIS meeting of the 2021 - 2022 school year, are invited to participate in discussion.

Topic of Discussion- “Under Pressure, Pushing Down on Me”: What influences our academic and social performance?

***Core Leadership elections will take place remotely during the meeting. Only 8th - 12th grade students in attendance will be eligible to vote!

The meeting will be held using the Zoom platform. An emailed invitation to join the meeting will be sent to students close to the time of the meeting.
