MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

DAIS Executive Committee (EC) Meeting at Friends Seminary

Determine the topic of discussion for the next DAIS general meeting! 

All students in grades 8 - 12 who are interested in being part of the Executive Committee (EC) and representing their school are welcome to attend the meeting. We encourage anybody who is willing to make the commitment to participate. 

We will be planning the next general DAIS meeting. Come with creative, interesting and exciting topics of discussion. You and your input determine the type of topics and discussions for our DAIS meetings!

Directions by train- Take the 4, 5 or 6 to 14th Street/Union Square. Walk east on 14th Street to 3rd Avenue. Make a left onto 3rd Ave. Walk to East 16th St. Make a right onto East 16th. The school is on the right side of the block.
