MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

DAIS Executive Committee (EC) Meeting at Berkeley Carroll School

Determine the topic of discussion for the next DAIS general meeting! 

All students in grades 8 - 12 who are interested in being part of the Executive Committee (EC) and representing their school are welcome to attend the meeting. The Executive Committee is open to all students active in DAIS. We encourage anybody who is willing to make the commitment to participate. 

We will be planning the next general DAIS meeting. Come with creative, interesting and exciting topics of discussion. You and your input determine the type of topics and discussions for our DAIS meetings!

Directions by train- Take the 2 or 3 train to Grand Army Plaza. Walk one block on Flatbush Avenue to 8th Avenue. Make a left onto 8th Ave. and walk to Lincoln Place. Make a right onto Lincoln Place. The school is between 7th and 8th Avenues on the right side.
