MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

13th Annual "College 101: The Road to Success" at Spence School

Are you preparing for or in the college application process?

A panel of successful DAIS Alumni college students and graduates from a wide variety of colleges and universities will be sharing their 'real life' experiences of the college application and admissions process, as well as college life. The session will include a chance for you to get your questions answered.

If you are a high school student, this is an opportunity not to be missed! Parents are also invited and encouraged to attend. 

Directions by train- Take the 4 or 5 train to 86th Street. Walk north on Lexington Avenue to 91st Street. Make a left and walk west on East 91st until you are on 91st between Madison and 5th Avenues. The school is on that block.
