MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

Topic of Discussion- “Schoolwide Assembly! MANDATORY!: Processing the Polarized Political Landscape”

All students in grades 8 - 12, who are interested in participating in DAIS are invited to attend this meeting for discussion.

Directions by train- Take the A, B, C, D or 1 to 59th Street/Columbus Circle. Walk north on Broadway to West 60th St. Make a left onto West 60th and walk west until Freedom Place South. Make a right onto Freedom Place South. The school is between West 61st and West 62nd St.
