MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

DAIS General Meeting at Marymount School

Topic of Discussion"I'm in love with my coco!"- a discussion on drugs and alcohol.

All students in grades 8 - 12, who are interested in participating in DAIS are invited to attend this meeting for discussion.

Directions by train- Take  the 4 or 5 train to 86th Street. Walk south on Lexington Avenue to East 84th Street. Make a right onto East 84th and walk west to 5th Avenue. Make a left onto 5th Avenue. The school is on 5th Avenue, between 83rd and 84th Streets.
